Shipping Policy
All orders will ship within 49 hours of receiving the order. If your order is backordered or out-of-stock, we will notify you via email or phone with an estimated delivery time.
*Free Shipping (see exceptions below)
All orders are shipped free within the contiguous USA only. Unfortunately, we can not ship orders that are less than 200 square yards outside the USA. For Canada orders, we recommend Cool Kids Carpets.
12' x 9' or Smaller
All carpeting that is 12' x 9' or smaller will be shipped via UPS or Federal Express. You should consider whether or not UPS will have a weather-safe place to leave your carpet if you are not home (although the carpets are packed in a plastic bag that should help keep them dry).
*Larger than 12' x 9'
All carpeting or area rugs larger than 12' x 9' will be shipped by a trucking company. We can deliver anywhere with truck receiving facilities (loading dock), such as a business or your installer's business location. Your carpet can also be held at a local truck terminal until your installer or yourself can pick it up. Truck lines will store your carpet for about a week or so at no charge. We will call you to discuss shipping options for all orders larger than 12' x 9'.
Any truck deliveries to a location without a truck dock (loading dock) will incur an extra $65 charge.
All rugs that are picked up at a truck terminal will be subject to a daily storage fee if the carpet is not picked up within a week. This fee is assessed by the trucking company.
Important Note: If you think your order may be damaged when it arrives, you should refuse delivery. This will make it much easier to process a damage claim with the freight company. If your order is damaged during shipping, we will help you resolve the problem with the freight company. However, the freight company or courier is solely responsible for damage done to your order while it is being shipped.
VERY IMPORTANT: If you sign for your carpet or rug and then find hidden damage, that damage MUST be reported within one week. Otherwise, the courier will not pay for the damage.
Also, if your order is left at your door by the courier and you later see that it was damaged, you need to keep it wrapped so that the courier can inspect the damage. You can not open the product and then file a claim because you will have destroyed the evidence. The courier will refuse the claim on the grounds that the damage may have been caused after you opened it.
Return Policy
Rug returns will be accepted without hassle. However, we kindly request the following stipulations:
- "Wall to wall" carpet orders are cut off the roll specifically for your order. Therefore, "wall to wall" carpet orders can only be returned in the event of a manufacturing defect.
- Rugs must be unused, uncut, uninstalled and unaltered in any way. Rugs must be returned in new condition. Installation or use of any rug will constitute your acceptance "as is". You must inspect your order upon arrival and let us know about any problems within one week.
- The carpet / rug will be inspected for signs of use before a refund is granted.
- The customer will be responsible for paying the return shipping.
- The customer will be responsible for paying a 15% restocking fee.
- The rug must be returned within two weeks of delivery.
Important Note: We can not take returns on the Black Light Collection or on "Seconds". Also, we can not take returns on rugs that were custom made for you. |
